The MOTI Practitioner Certification pathway is designed for experienced transformation professionals who want to demonstrate both their understanding of MOTI and their ability to apply it in practice.
Certification is competency-based.
It is not awarded simply for completing MOTI Topics, viewing resources or completing Knowledge Checks.
A MOTI Certified Practitioner must demonstrate the judgement and practical capability required to interpret organisational circumstances, identify transformation priorities and risks, and translate MOTI guidance into appropriate action.

The Certification Pathway
1. Foundation
Complete the designated MOTI Practitioner Topics and associated Knowledge Checks.
The Practitioner pathway covers selected core areas including strategy, governance, execution, technology, change and adoption, implementation, risk and the use of the MOTI Transformation Roadmap.
2. Knowledge Assessment
Complete a formal assessment designed to test understanding of:

key MOTI principles
-
transformation risks and priorities
-
sequencing and dependencies
-
organisational readiness
-
implementation considerations
-
appropriate use of MOTI Topics and Roadmaps
3. Practical Application
Complete a case-based assessment using either a MOTI-provided scenario or, where appropriate, an approved organisational situation.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to:

interpret organisational circumstances

identify major transformation priorities and risks

determine appropriate areas of focus

recommend sequencing and immediate actions

apply MOTI guidance appropriately

translate analysis into practical implementation recommendations
4. Certification Review
MOTI reviews the candidate's assessment results and practical submission against defined certification standards.
Candidates who meet the required standard are awarded the designation:
MOTI Certified Practitioner
Where appropriate, candidates may be given an opportunity to address identified gaps before final certification.
What Certification Demonstrates
MOTI Practitioner Certification demonstrates the ability to:

This distinction is important.
MOTI Certified Practitioner is a professional competency credential — not simply a course-completion certificate.

Successful candidates will receive:

The MOTI Practitioner Certification pathway is being introduced progressively.
Individual practitioners and organisations interested in certification are welcome to enquire.
Enterprise arrangements may also be developed for organisations wishing to certify groups of senior transformation, programme, PMO or change professionals.
Indicative certification fee: from USD $1,500 per practitioner.
Final pricing may vary depending on assessment requirements, enterprise arrangements and the level of support required.
